Calprivate Bank is a customer focused financial institution with emphasis on relationship based banking. A large part of its growth came from transferal, which meant customer relationships were closely connected. As the bank grew, leadership needed better clarity. This clarity involved customer relationships, sales opportunities, and overall business performance.

Challenges

The bank lacked a clear and complete view of its customer data. Important insights were spread across teams and systems.

Key challenges included:

  • No deep understanding of how customers were linked to each other
  •  Risk of losing multiple customers when one key customer left
  • Missed upsell and cross sell opportunities
  • Limited visibility into sales pipelines and forecasts
  • Missed follow ups on potential deals
  • No single place to view customer history, behavior, and preferences

Each department used its own tools and methods, which created silos and inconsistent reporting.

The bank wanted a single, reliable view of customer relationships and business performance.

The main objectives were:

  • Gain deep insight into customer relationships
  • Understand customer impact across referrals and linked accounts
  • Improve sales visibility and forecasting
  • Identify upsell and cross sell opportunities
  • Enable leadership to make faster, data driven decisions
Solutions
  • Acme One partnered with Calprivate Bank. The main reason is to build a centralized business intelligence solution using Power BI. Multiple dashboards were developed to serve different roles within the organization. A high level dashboard was designed specifically for executive leadership, including the CEO and CFO. The core idea was to provide a complete view of each customer and their connections within the bank. Management later named this initiative Customer 360 Degree.

Implementation

The Power BI dashboards were designed to show detailed customer relationships in a simple and visual way. For each customer, the dashboards displayed:

  • Linked and shared accounts
  • Referral based customer connections
  • Trustees and guarantors
  • Guaranteed loan accounts
  • Account balances of related customers

Hierarchy charts and tree views allowed teams to explore customer relationships in depth. All data was brought into a single reporting framework, replacing fragmented departmental reports.
