Acme One implemented a cloud based information protection strategy using Microsoft Azure services.
Azure Information Protection was executed to classify, label, and encode sensitive documents and emails. Custom labeling policies were designed to reflect the organization’s data sensitivity levels.
Auto labeling rules were configured to detect sensitive information. This sensitive information included credit card numbers, US Social Security Numbers, and more. When identified, labels and encryption were applied automatically.
Encryption was set up for both data at rest and data in motion. This ensured that data remained protected even if data was accessed outside the organization .
Windows Information Protection policies were configured to secure enterprise data on endpoint devices. Mobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management policies were set up using Azure Intune to extend protection to mobile users.
Data Leak Protection policies were designed to prevent unauthorized sharing of sensitive information.
Applications were configured to recognize and respect data classification policies, ensuring secure handling of protected documents.
