Process workflows automation using .Net Framework and SharePoint Online

It was facing the difficulty of slow and tedious business processes such as onboarding (of new employees, customers, and vendors), scrap tracking, documenting the workflow processes, tracking the offline shipment requests, etc. It usually took longer time for the processes to be completed. Therefore the main issue was tracking that:

  • Where in the pipeline; approvals (of onboarding of new employees, vendors, and customers) are pending ?
  • If an email has been sent (to the customer/manager) for processing
  • If the workflow is being carried out systematically (pre-designed step by step) or not

  • On a new request; an auto-generated email is sent to the customer/manager for further processing
  • In case the form is not processed, a reminder email is generated automatically after every 24 hours
  • Every business process is completed following the prescribed step-by-step milestone
