Microsoft Azure iPaaS (integration Platform as a Service) was used to serve as middleware to establish automated interaction and communication between different systems. It comprises reliable, secure, highly available, scalable, and maintainable integration services to build data-drive pipelines.

Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory were used as integration engines to:

• Transform and enrich data/messages
• Communicate with HTTP compliant APIs
• Schedule processes
• Expose the middleware for systems to communicate Azure Storage Accounts was used to:
• Persistently store unstructured data and files
• Host server files for Azure Functions etc.
• Leverage out of the box connection service to perform read-write operations from integration apps
